Last night we got to enjoy a wonderful dinner at @ruthschris. We enjoyed a porterhouse for two which is 40 oz of USDA Prime, richness of a strip & tenderness of a filet. The sizzling crab cakes which come with two jumbo lump cakes & lemon butter. Received a complimentary jumbo shrimp cocktail which comes with New Orleans style cocktail sauce. Ended up getting two side, Mac & cheese and garlic mashed potatoes. An ended our night with the most fantastic crème brûlée I’ve had in a while! The whole menu was so impressive and we definitely did not leave hungry!
Something to note – Ruth Fertel, purchased a restaurant called Chris Steak House in May of 1965 in New Orleans. Ruth had never planned to expand, but after a fierce kitchen fire decimated the property she was forced to relocate in order to stay in business. Within ten days Ruth had the restaurant up and running.
