the best show in basketball

Who could it be? None other than the Memphis Grizzlies. In a few short years, they have turned a rebuild into a successful must-watch brand of basketball. Clearly, this starts with Ja Morant. Everyone knew he was an emerging star, but this year he has officially solidified his place as a league superstar. Ja makes highlight reel play after play, while averaging 28, 6, and 7 on the season. He is playing at an MVP level at the moment, and people love watching him play.

While Ja is clearly the star of the show, there are many other players that play key roles. What makes this team so good is that there is not one weak player in their rotation.

Need shooting? Look to Desmond Bane and Dillon Brooks. Since Brooks got hurt, Bane has really elevated his game, while shooting very efficiently.  And the team only gets better when Brooks returns.

Need big men? Look to Jaren Jackson Jr. and Steven Adams. Jackson Jr. is a very good stretch 4, while Adams is used to playing bully ball and grabbing boards. That’s just the starting lineup. Looking to the bench they have great depth with players such as De’Anthony Melton, Ziaire Williams, Brandon Clarke, Kyle Anderson, and others. The Grizzlies are one of the few teams in the NBA that can run an all-bench unit without getting torched.

While everyone focuses on Ja, this entire team has the makings of a championship contender. On top of that, they have arguably the best chemistry in the league. If they continue their current trajectory, they will surely capture a title in the next few years.
