AFC South Season Betting Outlook

AFC South Season Betting Outlook

If you have been paying attention to my previous three dual future betting articles, you
know that I put my selections at the bottom of the article. So, if you scrolled down already you
probably have something to say about it.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Grant, this bet is -250, so is it even worth betting or
putting in the article for that matter? My quick answer would be most certainly yes. In order for
this bet to hit, either the Colts have to win the division (with the Titans coming in second) OR
the Titans have to win the division with the Colts coming in second. My question back to the
reader is this. Do you really think that either the Jaguars or the Texans have a chance to finish in
the top two of the AFC South? If you do think that either one of those teams has a chance, then
would you say that either the Jaguars or Texans could finish in the top two of the division if the
season was simulated 2.5 times? The reason I say 2.5 times is because if you were to win a -250
bet, you win 40% of what you would win if you lost that bet. So, winning this bet 2.5 times
would put you at even. Therefore, it’s up to you to decide if that number is worth it. For me, this
is certainly worth it because the Titans/Colts are still solid whereas I don’t see the
Jaguars/Texans winning more than seven games this year.

MY BET: DUAL FORECAST: COLTS/TITANS -250

This means that I am betting on the Colts and Titans to be in the top two division in either
order. So, if the Colts win the division and the Titans come in second place I win. If the Titans

win the division and the Colts come in second place I win. The only way this bet loses is if either
the Houston Texans or the Jacksonville Jaguars finish in the top two of their division.
