Joshua Reid, professionally known as Chris Buxton, is a 26-year-old American singer and record producer from Rock Hill, South Carolina. He currently resides in the Charlotte, NC area and has been making music professionally for the last 6 years. His sound is genre-less but it meshes alt-pop and indie with hip-hop undertones into one innovative sound.

Buxton got his start with his single “Remember” in 2016 and that single has amassed over 1 million streams alone on Spotify. After releasing other singles such as “Mary, Lucy, I” that has over a million streams across platforms and “Caught Up”, Buxton has garnered attention over the last six years by MTV UK, Lyrical Lemonade, Revolt TV, Daily Chiefers, ELEVATOR, Fashionably Early, A1234, Sheesh Media, and he was also placed on multiple New Music Friday’s as well.
