Since the break, the #1 overall pick is averaging 21.9 points per game and has increased his field goal attempts from 15.2 per game up to 18.8 per game. His free throw attempts more than doubled from just 2 attempts per game to over 4 and his field goal percentage is up from 39% to 45%. Post all-star break, we are seeing a new version of the first year point guard and he is living up to the hype he received coming out of Oklahoma State. Tonight, he gets a mouth watering matchup vs a Hawks team on the second leg of a back to back, that ranks bottom 5 in both defensive rating eFG% allowed, and has been bleeding points to the guard position of late.
