              Since joining the Pelicans back in early February, CJ has taken control of the Pelicans offense with Brandon Ingram out indefinitely, averaging 26.1 PPG over that span. McCollum has cooled off a bit lately if you just look at the final box scores, but if you dig a little deeper he has still been scoring at a high rate – CJ scored 25+ points in only 3 of his last 8 games, but that includes 2 games where he finished with exactly 24, a blowout loss to the Suns and a blowout win over the Jazz. McCollum also has an elite shot rate, putting up 26-19-17-27-21 FGA’s over his last 5 games. Tonight he gets a date vs the Charlotte Hornets, who are one of the best matchups in the league for opposing guards, in a game with the highest total on the board at 234. Look for CJ to put up 20+ shots tonight and cash the over on this line, in what should be a closely contested game where he sees his full minutes allotment.
