THe heat are hot

This NBA season has shown us a hot team. That team is the Miami Heat. Miami is in first place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 46-24. This team has developed since they made the finals in 2020, but then lost in five games to the Los Angeles Lakers. One player in particular, who has developed greatly for this team is Tyler Herro. Herro is averaging 21.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game. Herro is putting these numbers up on good shooting as well. Shooting 39.3% from the three point line and 44.3% from the field. I believe that Herro should be the sixth man of the year in the NBA because he has greatly improved from the 2020-2021 season. Also, in the 2021 offseason, the Miami Heat added a veteran point guard in Kyle Lowry. Lowry has proved to be a strong addition to the Miami Heat. Bam Adebayo is a strong paint presence for this Miami Heat team, as well. Adebayo is averaging 19.0 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game for the Heat. The scariest part about this Miami Heat team is that they have the highest three point percentage as a team in the NBA. Miami as a team, has a three point shooting average of 37.4%.
With shooters such as Duncan Robinson, Tyler Herro, PJ Tucker, and Kyle Lowery, who are all good shooters from beyond the arch, they are hot. Jimmy Butler is the star of the team. Butler is a great defensive guard who is able to shut down a first option, and make him obsolete for the game. My predictions for the Heat in the postseason are simple. The absolute floor for this team is getting bounced in the second round of the playoffs. The ceiling for this Miami team is winning the 2022 finals. This team is scary. If you catch them on the wrong day, they will shoot lights out for the whole game. Miami is my dark horse to win the 2022 NBA finals because this team is strong on all cylinders. The other teams need to watch out!
