Dinner’s Week 1 Picks
By: Dinner
Fellow degenerates I am back making blog posts just in time for this amazing week 1 board. I am
absolutely in LOVE with these Saturday games and I am here to give you my top 5 picks! As of
right now I am 1-0 in NCAA football, I absolutely sweated out a crucial Penn State -3.5 and a
half last night but somehow some way Sean Clifford was able to pull out the win last night even
though he looked like absolute horse shit. I only have 1 pick for Friday night which is TCU
money line but I doubt this will get posted in time due to me taking way too long to look at this
weekend’s slate. As a reminder please bet responsibly. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-

Saturday picks.
Starting off my card I am letting you all know now I am rocking with my Cincinnati Bearcats.
The Quarterback situation in Cincy is up in the air between Ben Bryant & Evan Prater. Luckily I
may or may not have some inside sources (CAN NOT CONFIRM) and it is looking like Ben
Bryant is going to be starting for the Bearcats. Ben Bryant returns to Cincinnati after transferring
to Eastern Michigan last year. As the starter for EMU, Bryant tossed 14 touchdowns and passed
for more than 3,000 yards in 13 games. I fully believe coach Fickle can keep it close. I’m not
saying they are going to win, but I’m taking the spread on this one. Pick #1 Cincinnati +6.5
For my second pick I am heading to the shoe for the night game between The Ohio State
Buckeyes & The Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The line for this game blows my mind. OSU comes
in with -17 odds. Which is just flat out disrespectful for those poor catholics. The Fighting Irish
are playing their first game under new head coach Marcus Freeman and I don’t know if you have
seen the video of ND announcing the news that Freeman would be the coach to the players but
those boys were HYPED for him to be the new head coach. I fully believe that ND will cover. I
honestly think they can surprise the college football world with an upset. But I am playing it safe
and taking the spread again.
Pick #2 Notre Dame +17
For my third pick we are switching it up and taking the points in the UCLA vs Bowling Green
game. Both teams will be relying on their experienced quarterbacks. For UCLA Dorian
Thompson-Robinson threw 21 touchdown passes in 2021 and was able to cut his interceptions
down to six. For BG Matt McDonald will be starting again, in 2021 he threw for 12 TD’s & 7
interceptions. He isn’t the best QB in the MAC but like I said I am taking the points, I think this
game is going to be an absolute shoot out. Personally I think UCLA can single handedly hit the
over so that’s what I’m taking. Pick #3 UCLA/BG Over 56.5
For my 4th pick I’m heading back to the SEC. We are going to be taking the points in the Florida
vs Utah game. Utah is fresh off its greatest season in program history. After starting 1-2 last
season, Utah was able to snag nine victories over the next 10 games that led them to win its first
Pac-12 championship. The Gators however enter the season under first-year coach Billy Napier,
who led Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns to a 33-5 record over the last three seasons. I’m a little
worried about this game because as of yesterday I decided to peep the weather app and it’s
supposed to storm down in Gainesville. But from my understanding both of these teams fucking
blow on defense but have electric offenses. So my gut is telling me this is going to be yet another
shoot out. Pick #4 Florida/Utah Over
For my 5th & final pick I am giving you my first upset of the year with Eastern Carolina taking
on NC State. There’s a lot of hype around NC State’s defense but I’m not for it. This game will
be taking place in Greenville, North Carolina and I know it’ll be jumping. Last season the Pirates
snagged 15 interceptions last year, the 14th most in the nation. But we haven’t had an upset yet
and I am feeling it with this one. Pick #5 ECU Money Line.
Those are my picks people! Ride em or fade em I don’t fucking care. But it’s week 1 & I
couldn’t be happier! Just a reminder please bet responsibly and DON’T UNIT SHAME!
