NFL Championship Sunday Best Bets 01/30/2022

By Adam Uschelbec

Championship Sunday is among us! Here’s my take on the best bets for Sunday’s NFL action.

KC -7.5

The Bengals have certainly shown that they are a force to be reckoned with in this year’s playoffs (and could be for years to come). While their run has been nothing short of fantastic, they enter Arrowhead stadium facing a powerful Chiefs team that pulled off a last second, come from behind win against the Bills last weekend. While Burrow and the Bengals looked strong in their wins against the Raiders (26-19) and the Titans (19-16), I have concerns about the offensive line’s ability to protect Burrow on a consistent basis. The Bengals offensive line allowed 9 sacks last week against the Titans in the Divisional round and I don’t see this improving much against Chris Jones and a tough Chiefs defensive line. While I think the Bengals explosive passing game has the potential to make some noise and keep this close, I’m laying the 7.5 on Mahomes and the Chief’s offense to pull away and win the AFC Championship by double digits.

LA +25

The Rams play at home in SoFi stadium for the chance to host the Superbowl in a couple of weeks and Stafford and this offense should come out ready to play. This is Stafford’s first time deep in the playoffs and I expect him to have a strong showing under the spotlight. With weapons Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham at his side, the passing game should be able to catch its stride. Not to mention Sony Michel and Cam

Akers are both healthy and ready to contribute on the ground as well. I expect Stafford and the Rams to find the endzone several times in Sunday’s matchup and I’m liking this total up to 26.5.
